Billy Fraser- Born in Arbroath, Scotland, a long long time ago…began playing piano and Scottish bagpipes when 8 years old and was a member of several school pipebands. Played both intruments in a 3 member band for a few years, Rainpals in Central Scotland, whilst also playing around many pubs & cluks in the 80’s & 90’s! Member of several bands including Paul Rattlesnake Smith & Lisa Fury, and moved to Norway permanently in 2005 for a bit of peace, tranquility, love, snow, mountain air, Fiords etc. LIFE influences certainly included 11 years in Private educational schools in Scotland, extremely long working hours to pay the “bills”, and a search for a better life! My korg Triton Pro X has been my mainstay instrument with it’s excellend sounds, 8 track abilities & recording facility: great for song & melody/tune ideas. Grew up with Slade, Gilbert O Sullivan, “Mickael jackson”, Genesis, Mike Oldfield (Oh Ommadawn  ), Supertramp, Sound of Music, Oliver etc….folk, rock, ballad, Scottish, Irish..aye the list goes on. Billy Fraser Melody/ies are basically divided into 2 categories 1. Songs 2. Instrumental Melodies-. ….erm and 3. Bagpipe music! Some are recorded by myself at home…I now have Steinberg’s Cubase 9.5 pro. Or in Stange by Øystein Håkonson (yes RETURN) or by the very talented guitarist, musician, and engineer Bjørn Hagen (FUEL).
